How does it work?
Come and meet one of our experienced seamstresses to explain what you’d like to change. Your dressmaker will advise you on possible alterations to personalize your dress to your desires. This service is available for dresses purchased from us, elsewhere or on the web.
Your private appointment can last anywhere from 15 minutes to half an hour.
What to alter on a ball gown
At this meeting, you can ask for ANYTHING; shorten or lengthen the dress, make the bust, waist and hips smaller or larger, have sleeves fitted, and so on.
Example of alterations for prom or evening dresses:
– Shorten the edge between $120 and $225
– Chest/waist/hip adjustment between $80 and $250
– Suspender adjustment from $15 to $100
– Plunging necklines between $50 and $175
