How does it work?
Come and meet one of our experienced seamstresses to explain what you’d like to change. Your seamstress will advise you on possible alterations to personalize your dress to your desires. This service is available for dresses purchased from us, elsewhere or on the web.
Your private appointment can last from 30 minutes to 1 hour. The cost of the meeting is $100. Added to this price are the costs of the various adjustments to be made according to the desired touch-ups.
What to alter on a wedding dress
At this meeting, you can ask for ANYTHING; shorten or lengthen the dress, shrink or enlarge the bust, waist and hips, have sleeves fitted, etc.
Examples of wedding dress alterations:
– Shortening the edge: between $120 and $500
– Chest/waist/hip adjustments: between $80 and $250
– Seed pump installation: between $15 and $100
– Beaded belt addition: between $80 and $350
– Replacing a zip with lacing: between $90 and $250
